Make A Tinkerbell Wig

Tinker Bell's locks are dazzling and blonde.

Tinker Bell is a fairytale character that dates back to 1904. She was created as a spunky guiding light in the Peter Pan stageplay and film. Along with a green leotard and fairy wings, no Tinker Bell costume is complete without a wig. Make your own Tinker Bell style wig that mimics her charming blonde coif.

Instructions

1. The blonde wig must have fringe in the front.

Purchase a blonde wig that has bangs or fringe. The length of the wig should be at least 14 inches since you'll be wearing it in an up-do style like Tinker Bell does.

2. Place the wig on your head and adjust it so that it's comfortable. Use a pin brush to smooth the hair and gather it at the crown of your head.

3. Place the wig hair in a loose, high ponytail. Once it's secure, wrap the length of the hair around the high ponytail as many times as you can until you've created a bun. Hold the bun in place using one or more elastic ponytail holders.

4. Wrap a piece of 1-inch-wide gold ribbon around the bun. This is the way Tinker Bell adorns her hair. When you take the wig off, undo the hair style and brush it with a pin brush to remove any tangles.
