Paint on Glass
Create a beautiful design on a glass vase or jar with glass paint. You can create a design of your choice or use a pattern. Follow these tips to paint on glass and turn plain glass into a beautiful project.
Instructions
1. Design your picture on a piece of paper before you start painting. Follow the sketch or pattern when you begin painting.
2. Choose your paint colors. Glass paint comes in a variety of colors. Choose a medium thick paintbrush so you can make medium sized strokes.
3. Get enough paint on the paint brush so that you can make thick line of paint. You don't want to use too much paint or it will drip.
4. Paint in thick even strokes starting at the top of the glass. Follow your pattern around the glass before moving down the glass.
5. Change colors to create a beautiful design. Wash the brush with water when you switch to another color or use a different brush for each color of paint. You can also mix colors together and create your own colors.
6. Use different brushes for different effects. Use a flat brush to make thick strokes and a small brush for delicate lines.
7. Wipe off the paint with a damp cloth or cotton swab. You can remove dry paint with a razor blade but do it slowly and carefully.
